Terre Haute, Ind.(WTHI) - TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Indiana State will host Iona in the final edition of the Bracketbuster event on Saturday, February 23, inside Hulman Center. Tip-off is set for 11:00 a.m. (ET) and will be televised live nationally on ESPNU as well as on ESPN3.
Indiana State will be participating in the Bracketbuster scheduling concept for the ninth time. ISU owns a 3-5 record in the event with a 1-2 mark at home and 2-3 on the road.
Notably, this is first time that ESPN has elected to televise an Indiana State game as part of the Bracketbuster Series.
The Sycamores have never faced off against Iona in the history of the program. Iona is a member of MAAC. They are currently 14-9 overall and 8-4 in league play. The Gaals currently own a No. 96 RPI while the Sycamores check in at No. 52.
Iona owns victories over Wake Forest on a neutral floor and on the road in overtime at Georgia.
