The Partnership for Excellence today named eleven high-performing organizations as recipients of the 2013 Awards for Excellence.
This is Ohio, Indiana and West Virginia's highest honor for performance excellence through innovation, results, and visionary leadership using the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence.
Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Ind. has been awarded the Platinum Governors Award for Excellence. Union Hospital was described as a fully integrated health care system that delivers a continuum of patient-focused care to their communities and neighbors in Indiana and Illinois.
All of the applicants for this award were evaluated rigorously by an independent board of examiners in seven areas defined by the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence: leadership, strategic planning, customer focus, measurement, analysis and knowledge management, workforce focus, operations focus, and results.
The 2013 Partnership for Excellence award recipients will be honored at The Partnership for Excellence's Annual Quest for Success Conference to be held September 16 and 17 at the Polaris Hilton in Columbus, Ohio.
