TERRE HAUTE, IND. (WTHI) - Two people were sent to the hospital after a serious two car accident.
It happened just before 5:30 Thursday morning at Springhill and Erie Canal road on Terre Haute’s south side.
Officials report a green Dodge Minivan driven by James M. Cramer collided with a Mazda pick-up truck driven by Madeline S. Cummins at the intersection.
Airbags in both vehicles were deployed causing injuries to Cramer and the passenger of the truck, Melissa S. Aldrich.
Both Cramer and Aldrich were transported to Union Hospital and were both reported in stable condition.
All seat belts were worn and no citations were issued.
An investigation is underway into an early morning crash.
