VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - A drug bust in Vermillion County, Indiana leads to two major arrests.
Police spent the afternoon at the scene in North Saint Bernice.
News 10 was at the home on State Road 71 when the Vermillion County Sheriff's Department removed more than one hundred marijuana plants from a basement.
Police arrested Kevin Campbell and his girlfriend Mary Jo Reed at the home.
According the police on the scene, the plants were not fully grown. If they were, they'd be worth as much as a thousand dollars each.
Along with the plants, police also found items they believe to be linked to methamphetamine use.
Items from the scene will be investigated and formal charges will be filed in the coming days.
Police attribute this arrest to an anonymous tip and the drug enforcement group says the last three of their major drug seizures came from community tips.
