VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. (wthi) - Two people are dead after a late night car crash in southern Vermillion County, Indiana.
It happened just before 11:30 Tuesday night on Range Line Road, just south of Hazel Bluff Road.
The Vermillion County Sheriff's Department says, for an unknown reason, a 1995 Oldsmobile ran off the road, hitting a cement bridge head on.
Emergency crews had to free the three people from inside the car.
The driver, an adult woman, died at the scene.
An adult male in the front passenger seat later died at Union Hospital in Clinton.
One juvenile, who was a back seat passenger, is now being treated at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis for unknown injuries.
No names have been released.
UPDATE: Around 9 a.m. on Saturday, the Terre Haute Police Department responded to the Statesman Inn room 144 at 1407 N 3rd Street. Officers found Randall Norton Jr, 21, with multiple stab wounds to his back and abdomen.
The Washington Police Department responded Friday around 2 a.m. to a complaint of a male subject being shot. The incident happened on Oak Grove Road in Washington near Ebenezer Baptist Church.
