TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - UPDATE: Monday 11-26-2012 through Friday 11-30-2012 crews will be out picking up leaves from:
- Hwy 46 to 4th St., between Poplar and Locust Streets.
UPDATE: Tuesday, November 13 through Friday, November 16, the City of Terre Haute will be picking up leaves from:
- S.R. 63 to S.R. 46, between Voorhees Street and Wabash Ave.
The fall season brings many things: cooler temperatures, long pants, sweaters and the fun for some, but tedious task of raking leaves.
Luckily for residents of Terre Haute, the City Street Department plans to clean up your leaves; however, they will only be making one pass down your street.
Workers will start on the south end of the city, making their way north.
Leaf pickup with start on November 5, starting from:
- Davis Ave. to Voorhees St.
- Hwy 63 to S.R. 46
NOTE: The City pickup will continue north until November 9. They are only making one pass, and ask they residents sweep the leaves to the tree line, not the road.
