CLAY COUNTY, Ind (WTHI) - An early morning bus accident in Clay County, Indiana has mother nature to blame.
Just after 7 a.m. on Wednesday, the Clay County’s Sheriff’s Department says a pick up truck hauling a trailer rear-ended a school bus on U.S. 40, just west of Brazil.
Authorities say the bus was stopped picking up children when the pick-up driver’s vision was impaired due to the sunshine and was unable to stop in time.
No children were injured, however a passenger from the pick up was treated for minor injuries.
Traffic was tied up for some time to allow crews to clean up the scene.

UPDATE: Around 9 a.m. on Saturday, the Terre Haute Police Department responded to the Statesman Inn room 144 at 1407 N 3rd Street. Officers found Randall Norton Jr, 21, with multiple stab wounds to his back and abdomen.
Update: The Washington Police Department is looking to speak with a person of interest in an ongoing death investigation.
