TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The United Way of the Wabash Valley is once again stuffing the bus.
The big yellow school bus stopped by Wal-Mart south in Terre Haute Tuesday.
People dropped-off school supplies for area students in need. This was just one of many stops for the bus and The United Way this month.
"It's met with a lot of enthusiastics, and we do have a lot of people that just show up and ask us, what do you want to donate and of course we tell em, ya know any kind of supplies but we get, a lot of people are gettin' really excited over it,” said Dough Wilson, volunteer.
Stuff the Bus will be at Big Lots tomorrow and the east side Wal-Mart on Thursday.
UPDATE: Around 9 a.m. on Saturday, the Terre Haute Police Department responded to the Statesman Inn room 144 at 1407 N 3rd Street. Officers found Randall Norton Jr, 21, with multiple stab wounds to his back and abdomen.
The Washington Police Department responded Friday around 2 a.m. to a complaint of a male subject being shot. The incident happened on Oak Grove Road in Washington near Ebenezer Baptist Church.
