TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - One local college spreads some Christmas cheer to its campus and community Monday.
Seniors, faculty and staff from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College Department of Equine Studies sang Christmas carols while riding on horseback through campus.
Students and their horses were decked out in holiday attire.
"It's just a day for us to have fun with the horses and bring holiday spirit to the campus and try to enjoy ourselves," Student Nadia Robers said.
A tradition, the Equine Holiday Ride takes place on students' study day before finals.
