VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) - Funeral services are set for longtime Vincennes University President Phillip Summers.
Summers died Sunday at the age of 74.
The visitation will be Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at First Christian Church in Vincennes. The funeral is Thursday at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center on Vincennes University campus.
There will be a visitation from 9:30 until 11 Thursday morning with the funeral beginning at 11 a.m.
In addition to his many accomplishments as President of VU, Summers led the charge to develop and open the Red Skelton Center.
