News 10 spent the morning talking with Dave Tucek of the National Weather Service.
"In both cases, visual observation of what would appear to be something in the way of a tornado," said Tucek. "It is just, again, if we call it a tornado or call it a gustnado, which is a tornado like feature, that remains to be seen yet. But both can cause minor damage, which we saw that, both on the south side of Terre Haute and here in Riley as well."
On News 10 this evening, we'll be talking with the homeowner off Curry Dr. that reported damage to his property and of course we will have a final confirmation from the National Weather Service.
