VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - Indiana State Police say someone burglarized the Cayuga Municipal Building.
That's home to its police force and other administrative offices.
Investigators say it happened last night sometime after 7:30.
They say someone broke a window to get inside the building.
Officials say the suspects vandalized the Cayuga Marshal's office.
They say eight police badges turned up missing and three guns.
Investigators say someone also went into the health clinic office.
"At this particular point in the investigation, the health clinic is doing an inventory of what may or may not be missing but we don't believe anything is missing from the police department or anything missing at this time from the health department is a risk to the public at this particular time," Indiana State Police Public Information Officer Sergeant Joe Watts said.
They need your help finding the burglar.
If you have any more information, police would like you to call (765) 653-4114.
