TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A shooting takes place at a Terre Haute motel.
According to police, a 59-year-old male clerk was shot in the chest.
This happened around 9 p.m. Monday night at the Royal Inn on 3rd St. in Terre Haute.
Police say the victim was taken to Union Hospital where he was then air lifted to another hospital.
His condition is unknown at this time.
Police say the possible shooter is also a male and that he may have left the scene of the shooting.
Police say they have no suspect in custody at this time.
The shooting remains under investigation.
