TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A long-time organization helps folks provide a Christmas meal to their family.
Members from Moose Lodge in Terre Haute distributed boxes of food to a dozen elderly families Wednesday.
For the last few weeks, the lodge collected either a non-perishable item or $1 from members entering the building.
The group hopes to continue giving in future years.
"We're here to help the community. Our goal is to do some good thing for someone each day. That is in our motto at the lodge," Moose Lodge Administrator Ed Akers said.
