TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Terre Haute Children's Museum is getting ready for this weekend's Downtown Block Party.
The annual event will fill up a large part of downtown Terre Haute on Saturday.
It'll feature live music, a car and motorcycle show and of course food.
The Children's Museum will offer a discounted admission price of $5 during the festivities.
Science experiments and outdoor activities will also be offered.
Organizers say it will be a perfect time to get out into the community.
“You can come downtown, come inside the building and enjoy the stuff in here and then go outside and enjoy the food and music and all of the other fun things going on outside,” Lynn Huges from the Children’s Museum said
The Downtown Block Party is this Saturday from 1:00 p.m through midnight.
Two people are in the Vigo County jail facing charges of burglary with deadly weapons, residential entry, and possession of various drugs and paraphernalia.

UPDATE: Around 9 a.m. on Saturday, the Terre Haute Police Department responded to the Statesman Inn room 144 at 1407 N 3rd Street. Officers found Randall Norton Jr, 21, with multiple stab wounds to his back and abdomen.
