TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Indiana State Police and Vigo County Coroner's Office have identified the deceased driver and the injured passenger involved in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 near the 12 mile marker on September 16, 2012 at 6:55 p.m.

Lisa M. Carder, age 55, of Olathe, Kansas was driving the gray 2008 Chevrolet Colorado pickup, when she and her passenger, Thomas Carder, 59, were struck in the rear by a red 2002 Chevrolet S10 that was struck in the rear by a semi-tractor trailer.
Lisa was pronounced dead at the scene.

The autopsy on Mrs. Carder has been delayed until tomorrow 9-18-2012.
Thomas Carder, Charles Loyd and Connie Loyd all remain hospitalized at Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis, each with multiple injuries.
The Loyd's were in the red, 2002 Chevrolet S10.
The tractor-trailer driver that initiated the impact, Richard L. Merry, age 51, Hamilton, Ohio was treated at Terre Haute Regional Hospital for what is believed to be minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by ISP Sergeant Chris Wright and at the conclusion of the investigation will be submitted to the Vigo County Prosecutor's Office for review.
