TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A fun event in Terre Haute Sunday afternoon brought together a lot of people planning for a big day.
The 13th annual Wabash Valley Bridal Showcase was at the Hulman Center Sunday.
But at their runway show, there were some familiar faces amongst the lovely "brides".
The unique male models were from local law enforcement agencies.
There were four detectives and one K9 officer from the Terre Haute Police Department, three Vigo County deputy sheriffs and two Indiana State Police officers.
"Some of the police come in there for different things. They need tuxes or whatever. And word got out, and the next thing you knew they thought it would be really fun. And so that's how it got started," said Karen Ader, owner of Lucia's Bridals.
The officers were modeling for Lucia's Bridals and Jim's Tux Shops.
