TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - One person has been confirmed dead after the the incident, according to Dr. Kohr , Vigo Co. coroner.
Terre Haute police say a truck hit a motorcycle just after 10:30 Wednesday night.
It happened at the intersection of 13th and College streets in Terre Haute.
Authorities say a group of motorcycles was stopped at an intersection. As one of the motorcyclists pulled forward, he was hit by a truck.
That truck tried to flee the scene, but was railroaded.
Police say they've got the truck's driver in custody. He was taken to an area hospital to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
