TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - There are new details into our newsroom after a fire at Indiana State’s University Apartments.
At this time, some students are staying in temporary housing.
According to information given to students the people affected on the third floor will be able to move back in on October 28.
Students living on the fourth floor, where the fire actually happened should be able to return to their rooms in early November.
The restoration and clean up of those rooms is complete, and right now a contractor is getting those rooms move in ready.
Two people are in the Vigo County jail facing charges of burglary with deadly weapons, residential entry, and possession of various drugs and paraphernalia.

UPDATE: Around 9 a.m. on Saturday, the Terre Haute Police Department responded to the Statesman Inn room 144 at 1407 N 3rd Street. Officers found Randall Norton Jr, 21, with multiple stab wounds to his back and abdomen.
