TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The community was invited to get outside this Saturday and do a little gardening.
Several organizations teamed up and hosted a garden party at ISU's community garden.
It was an opportunity for everyone to celebrate gardens and gardeners.
The event featured garden tours, information tables, and live music.
"Even if they weren't gardeners, if they want to learn about gardening, they just want to come and celebrate this beautiful environment here really that Indiana State has provided for people to do gardening. And if they don't have any place in their back yard," Organizer Norbert Gottschling said.
Terre Haute wasn't alone. We were one of many towns across the state that celebrated gardening.
