VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - If you have unused household cleaners, paint from old house projects or just need to get rid of a few old materials laying around, but don't know the proper way to do it, Tox Away Day is your answer.
Clay, Owen and Vigo Solid Waste Management District is hosting their annual Tox Away Day to help properly dispose of hazardous waste.
News 10's received several phone calls from some our wonderful views, with questions about Tox Away Day, regarding if certain materials are being accepted.

Organizers are accepting household hazardous waste, including appliances, for safe disposal.
They are not accepting latex paints; however, there are methods you can take to properly dispose the paint.

They aren't accepting televisions either. They said you could drop those off at your local Goodwill or ISU Recycling Center.
UPDATE: Around 9 a.m. on Saturday, the Terre Haute Police Department responded to the Statesman Inn room 144 at 1407 N 3rd Street. Officers found Randall Norton Jr, 21, with multiple stab wounds to his back and abdomen.
The Washington Police Department responded Friday around 2 a.m. to a complaint of a male subject being shot. The incident happened on Oak Grove Road in Washington near Ebenezer Baptist Church.
