TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A local church organization did what it could to help feed Terre Haute's hungry. Hundreds came to Gilbert Park Wednesday morning.
It was part of a food giveaway put on by the members of Indiana's First Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ.
The church gave out food and clothing to folks in need. This is the 4th year for the giveaway. Members said they do the annual event to connect with the community.
"We do this every year because we feel that we want to give back to the community, the things that Christ has told us to do," Evangelist Robert Johnson said.
