TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - An accident at 25th and Park Street between a Chevy Tahoe and a scooter has stopped traffic.
Officials report the driver of the scooter ran a stop sign while traveling east on Park Street. This caused the Chevy Tahoe to collide with the scooter throwing the driver off the scooter.
The driver of the scooter was taken to an area hospital for injuries to the legs, arms, and head.
Traffic is stopped while crews clean-up the scene and is expected to be closed for a few hours.
