TERRE HAUTE, Ind - Three Terre Haute Firefighters are headed to Haiti to help withrelief efforts.
Capt. Nick Sarris, Floyd Mason and Kevin Price will be tradingin their fire gear to help pick up rubble and provide medicalservice.
The three fire fighters original plan was to leave on Tuesday.Congestion at the Port au Prince airport has them on hold untilFebruary 2nd. In the meantime, they're looking into flying into theDominican Republic and driving over.
"This is the first of many trips that is going to have to betaken down there just to help the Haitian people get back on theirfeet," Sarris said.
