Indiana University is spending $8 million to help develop online courses at its campuses across Indiana.
The goal is to extend IU's worldwide reach.
It's called the IU online education initiative.
In addition to teaching students all over the globe, it'll also identify programs that can help Indiana improve its workforce development and help cut down on the time it takes students to complete college.
