INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana officials are set to announce an expansion of a foreclosure prevention program
The office of Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann says she'll hold a news conference Wednesday afternoon to announce expansion of the state's Hardest Hit Fund, including increased funding for struggling homeowners and additional eligibility criteria such as underemployment, health care hardships and military service
The Hardest Hit Fund is a national program available in 18 states and the District of Columbia and offers qualified homeowners mortgage assistance.
Democratic and Republican lawmakers and Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority Executive Director Jacob Sipe are scheduled to join Ellspermann for the announcement.
