SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) - Employees of a Speedway Circle K gas station alerted police Wednesday afternoon that they had found either a firework or explosive in their parking lot.
Authorities arrived at 2610 N. High School Road and described the object as cylinder shaped cardboard with a green wick coming out of one end.
They say it looked like a large firework, but had no markings on it, a report said.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police took the object to examine it further.
The investigating is ongoing.
