GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - On Friday, March 30, Andrew Cornell of Elnora, IN was traveling east on State Rd. 54, just east of the Green Co. 4-H Fairgrounds when he lost control of his vehicle.
He continued, uncontrollably, off the roadway and struck a guard-rail.
Cornell was not restrained and was ejected from the vehicle as a result of the impact with the rail.
He was taken to Greene County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his sustained injuries.
Indiana State Police, Bloomfield Police, Worthington Police, Switz City Fire Department and Greene Co. EMS were there at the scene.
An investigation continues, to determine the cause of the crash.
