INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis firefighters have recovered the body of a 57-year-old man found dead in an apartment complex retention pond on the city's north side.
Authorities say a mowing crew found the body of Michael Hoffman of Indianapolis on Thursday morning.
Hoffman lived in an apartment with his two brothers. One of the brothers says Hoffman left to go for a walk Wednesday night and didn't return.
Investigators say Hoffman may have fallen down an embankment. They say he suffered from dementia.
