FISHERS, Ind. (WTHI) - A state-wide Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 8-year-old girl out of Fishers.
Police say a court order for the return of a child to the custody of her father was issued Tuesday afternoon. Police believe the child, Sophia Snow, is with her mother.
Officials say her mother, Jennifer Ansari, took Sophia from their Fishers home after she became aware that she was losing custody to her ex-husband.
Ansari was last seen driving a 2012 burgundy Honda Civic 4-door passenger car with Kentucky license plate number 779NZJ. She may be staying with relatives in Louisville.
Police are concerned for the child’s safety. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact police immediately.
