SAN FRANCISCO (CNN) - Interns are known for making little, or no, money.
But that's not the case at Google, whose internship program is getting a lot of attention with the release of the movie "The Internship."
On average, interns there are paid $5,800 a month, according to job-rating website Glassdoor.
Its interns are expected to commit to at least three months of full-time work.
That means that most tech interns there will get paid about $20,000 during their stint.
A Google spokeswoman would not confirm how much any company employees are paid.
