TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - On Thursday, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology announced Donald M. Ings, former President of Solar Turbines Inc., had been elected as the Chairman of the RHIT Board of Trustees.
“Don has extraordinary expertise in the business of global engineering as well as fundraising, and he has a true passion for the enhancement of Rose-Hulman,” said William Fenoglio, outgoing board chairman.
Ings has served on the institute’s Board of Trustees since 2009 while also serving as chair of the institutional advancement committee.
“I am honored to serve my alma mater and give back to a place that sparked my engineering imagination as an undergraduate, and without question, like many alumni, helped launch my career success,” said Ings.
