TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A woman was in court after police say she hit another vehicle while driving drunk.
Vigo County Sheriff's deputies say Kelly Stuffle somehow hit Michelle Lemay while driving on Harlan Drive last week.
The impact caused Lemay to crash into a utility pole. She had to be removed from the vehicle.
Lemay was airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Officials found Stuffle had a blood alcohol level of .26.
Stuffle is charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated, resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.
She'll be in court again in August.
