TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Terre Haute Police (THP) investigating two shootings that happened Sunday have determined the incidents are related.
At a press conference Monday afternoon, THP revealed the shooting that occurred near 6th St. and Wabash Ave., around 1:58 a.m. Sunday, and the shooting that happened near the Booker T. Washington Community Center are related.

Shots from the 6th St. and Wabash Ave. shooting were fired into the air and there are no reported injuries from it.
The second shooting happened near the Booker T. Washington Community Center, from which two people were injured.
One victim was taken to Union Hospital, the other to Regional; however, both were then transported to an out of area hospital.
Witnesses stated that one of the two victims injured from the second shooting, fired a handgun during that incident.
The investigation is still ongoing.
THP advise that you keep an eye out for any suspicious activity, and to report any to the Terre Haute Police Department.
