TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Three women stand accused of beating up their neighbor.
The victim claims it was over an air conditioner unit.
April McGregor, Sheryl McGregor and Rosia Bicard face battery charges in the Vigo County Court.
Lisa Ramsey claims she was attacked at her own home.
She says she loaned April McGregor an air conditioning unit after she had a baby.
Lisa said someone recently asked to buy the unit, so she asked April for it back.
She claims the attack happened after she took the unit back to her home.
Lisa claims she’s scared to be in her own home, since one of her alleged attackers lives down the street.
“These girls come into court and they laughed at me. This is not funny…I just don’t think people should be battered and abused for being nice to somebody,” Ramsey said.
They’ll be back in court Thursday, when formal charges are expected to be filed.
