TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A man accused of attempted murder was in court Wednesday for his initial hearing.
At around 7:00 Friday night, Terre Haute police responded to North 18th Street.
They found 25-year-old Ryan Christian with multiple gunshot wounds.
Witnesses identified John W. Johnson as the shooter.
Police believe the two share a family relation.
They say when they went to Johnson's house, he came to the door with his hands in front of him.
He told officers they needed to take him to jail.
Johnson will be in court again in November.
