TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - One Terre Haute man authorities say is connected to a sexual battery appeared in court today.
Christopher Hayden's lawyer asked a judge to reduce the 19-year-old man's bond.
Hayden turned himself in to police in July. This, after police say he and two other men in June sexually battered a 14-year-old girl in a hotel room.
Peter Tanoos II and Tucker Ray also face charges in the incident.
The judge is expected to decide on Hayden's bond in a few days.
UPDATE: Around 9 a.m. on Saturday, the Terre Haute Police Department responded to the Statesman Inn room 144 at 1407 N 3rd Street. Officers found Randall Norton Jr, 21, with multiple stab wounds to his back and abdomen.
The Washington Police Department responded Friday around 2 a.m. to a complaint of a male subject being shot. The incident happened on Oak Grove Road in Washington near Ebenezer Baptist Church.
