TEXAS (WTHI) - One man charged in a string of robberies heard his fate in court today.
A jury found Homer Ballard guilty of robbing banks in Southern Indiana and in Terre Haute. He's charged with two counts of armed robbery.
Authorities caught the man in a home in Texas.
Court documents show Ballard robbed Advance America twice at gunpoint.
Ballard faces up to 40 years in prison. His Sentencing is scheduled for October 2.

UPDATE: Around 9 a.m. on Saturday, the Terre Haute Police Department responded to the Statesman Inn room 144 at 1407 N 3rd Street. Officers found Randall Norton Jr, 21, with multiple stab wounds to his back and abdomen.
Update: The Washington Police Department is looking to speak with a person of interest in an ongoing death investigation.
