TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Loud noises ripped through the Vigo County Fairgrounds Tuesday night to the tune of monster trucks.
The monster truck rally was part of the Vigo County Fair that runs through Saturday, July 14th.
Four monster trucks were taking part in the rally.
Each of the trucks has six foot tall tires, which can weight as much as a Toyota Prius. The monster trucks also consume seven gallons of gas for each mile they drive.
For $5, participants could even go for a ride in the back of a monster truck.
Toys are getting ready for distributing for the annual Toys for Tots toy drive.
