INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Pacers’ Danny Granger won’t make his NBA comeback Wednesday night, Pacers officials said via twitter Wednesday morning.
Granger, who practiced with the team on Tuesday, was a possibility to play Wednesday night against the Charlotte Bobcats. But Pacers officials said he couldn’t attend the team’s pre-game shoot around Wednesday because of illness.
One of the most visible Pacers players, Granger has been out the entire season because of a knee injury. Head coach Frank Vogel said Tuesday that although Granger was a little rusty at practice, he looked good overall.
After Wednesday night’s game, the Pacers have a week off for the all star break.
