(CNN) - New Year's Eve is still a few days away, but people in Salt Lake City decided to celebrate early.
EVE is when a city shipped in nearly 60 tons of snow to set up a slope. Professional skiers and snowboarders from Utah gathered Tuesday to get the party started and to show off their skills.
The three-day celebration will also include live music, laser shows and dance parties. Children 10 years old and under get in free with the purchase of an adult ticket for $15.
