LOXAHATCHEE, Fla. (AP) — A horse that wandered into an in-ground swimming pool in South Florida needed some help getting out.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Capt. Albert Borroto tells The Palm Beach Post that the 30-year-old horse named Andy had jumped a fence and landed in the Loxahatchee swimming pool.

A 911 caller alerted authorities, noting that the horse's head was above water.

It took about two hours to rescue the animal Tuesday. Photographs from the scene show a blindfolded Andy hoisted from the water in a sling suspended from a crane.
