DARIEN, Ill. (AP) - Three family members have been found shot dead in a Chicago suburb in what officials describe as a home invasion.

Darien Deputy Police Chief John Cooper identified the victims as Lori and Jeffrey Kramer and their 20-year-old son, Michael Kramer.

Cooper says the Kramers' daughter called 911 around 3 a.m. Tuesday while hiding in a closet. He says two additional people also were in the house, including another Kramer son. Cooper says those three aren't suspects.

Police say no suspects are in custody and no weapon has been found.

Earlier, Darien Police Chief Robert Pavelchik Jr. said the house appears to have been targeted and that neighborhood residents weren't in danger. But he didn't elaborate.

Darien Mayor Kathleen Weaver described the situation as a home invasion.
