Snow showers will move into the Wabash Valley this evening. According to Futurecast, the main line of widespread snow will begin between the hours 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.  tonight. With temperatures only dropping into the upper 20s, it will be a wet snow which will keep total accumulations down.

Overall, we are looking for about one inch of snow accumulations for most of the Wabash Valley. Some areas to the south and west could see up to two inches. Winds will not be an issue as they will be on the light side around 5 mph out of the south.

Roads will be slick for Tuesday’s morning commute as we will have a wintry mix at that time. By midday, most of the precipitation will be out of here but mostly cloudy skies will remain in place. Tuesday high temperature will be near 38°. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 20s.

Another wave of rain will move in during the afternoon on Wednesday lasting through the day on Thursday. It will be an all rain event as temperatures will top out in the upper 40s on Wednesday and mid 40s on Thursday.

By Friday, the forecast will dry out and we’ll have partly cloudy skies all throughout the weekend. High temperatures will be in the mid 40s and lows in the upper 20s.
