Kevin’s Winter Almanac

Hello, All!  It is that time again for me to attempt to predict what the coming winter holds for us.

My methods are somewhat different than those used by most conventional climatologists. Certainly, I do look at computer projections and information concerning Pacific Ocean temperatures.

The majority of my predicting method relies on natural signs, historic weather patterns, Solar activity and positions and phases of the Moon. Other, more subtle indicators are considered. These include astronomical influences, but let me point out that I am not employing astrology.

Scripture indicates that signs are placed all around us to indicate the seasons. I learned many of these signs from my Grandmother and, so far, I have not revealed the oral tradition she passed to me from her parents and grandparents.
