WABASH VALLEY, (WTHI) - Tuesday was the 5th straight day for severe storms in the Wabash Valley.
Wind and rain damaged trees, homes, and even caused flooding
Rain pounded city streets in Terre Haute and winds were so strong our News 10 photographer could barely keep the camera steady.
Clay County residents were seeing heavy rain and winds, as well.
In Crawford County, Illinois some residents were seeing some major damage including several trees uprooted and tree limbs torn off.
However, some of the worst damage was seen in Greene County, Indiana where emergency officials said funnel clouds were spotted.
Not only were heavy rains creating problems on the road, strong winds actually turned a traffic light around to it's side; making it run parallel with the road.
The winds also forced a tree to collapse right on top of this house, causing serious damage.
"I got home and the tree was down on the house," Greene County resident David Foster said. "We got water coming in on the house, and in two rooms and the ceiling is all bowed inside."
