Weather predictions

WABASH VALLEY (WTHI) - With September coming to an end, and some rain in the buckets, many of you are wondering what October has in store.

Well, News 10’s Kevin Orpurt is here to tell you: don’t expect a very cold, or very wet, October.

Temperatures for October will be a little above average. Daytime highs range from the mid 70s at the beginning of the month to the mid 60s by the month’s end.

While it is possible, we’ll have a chance for frost this October; however, the expectancy is low for a killing freeze.

As far as precipitation is concerned, it’s expected to be average, which, normally, we get about 2.32 inches. This year probably won’t be any different.

If anything, it may be slightly below average, and there probably won’t be any snow this October.
