I got to wondering about all the weeds in my yard (more than a normal year!). If your grass is like mine, it’s a brown as sand, but every several feet there are tall, green weeds.
Tom Cummins of the Apple House tells me that weeds require 90 percent LESS nutrients than grass and also only a fraction of the water. That means, while our yards are dormant or dead, weeds are flourishing.
