BARTONVILLE, Ill. (WTHI) - Shadows lurk throughout the halls of the Bartonville State Asylum. The lingering spirits of all the patients that had passed from the White Death and other illnesses, still roam around the only place they felt was home.
It’s said that footsteps and voices can still be heard in rooms and doorways.
Paranormal investigators have witness multiple accounts of spirit sightings, whether it’s a shadow running down the hallway, or simple phrases being muttered from thin air.
News 10 Photojournalist John Timm spent the night in the Bartonville State Asylum, and will show you what he found on News 10 at 6:00 p.m. EDT.
