DUGGER, Ind. (WTHI) - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is announcing that State Road 54 (S.R. 54) will be closing to repair a railroad crossing in Dugger.
On Monday, October 15, at approximately 8:00 a.m., railroad crews will close S.R. 54 from the junction of U.S. 41 to the junction of State Road 59 (S.R. 59).
Crews will be making repairs to the crossing east of Section Street. All work is scheduled to be complete by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19, weather permitting.
The official detour will route traffic on US 41, S.R. 48 and S.R. 59.
INDOT encourages motorists to slow down and pay special attention while traveling in work zones throughout Indiana.
